ATI TV wonder improved performance...

I recently reinstalled my card after 4 months of it being out ad this is what I found...

With the latest drivers at ati, coupled with direct x 8.0a and video update (both at microsoft.com) I have seen a noticeable improvement with the look of the picture...fast motion pictures look much better.

Also when I bought the card I could only capture mpeg1 or avi...now I can capture to mpeg2 and vcd...

PLus the stability in capturing is far better...and quicker.

I have been pleasantly impressed with the improvement...makes me wonder what I have been missing over the last few months...

I don't have a tv in my room, but I want to be able to hook up a PS2 to the monitor. Would the quality be acceptable (if not better), since computer monitors are not interlaced?

With the newest drivers that Duvie is talking about, the picture quality is very nice -- much better than before. I have used it to do video capture from an external DVD player and the result was pretty good.
