I just installed an ATI TVWonder PCI to work along with my Radeon 64DDR VIVO. I read on the ATI support page that I would have to disable the Multimedia Center 7.0 (Radeon's) for the TV tuner to work.
I uninstalled it and then did a fresh install of the TVWonder 3.0 drivers (for WinME). I have to order them from ATI. I also installed WebTV, since I read that it was required by the guide plus software.
The TV tuner works great except when I try to run setup. It aborts the tuner program but leaves the sound going. If I try to run it again, I go to the initial install screen that does the channel scan and antenna selection. If I reboot instaed, I get the TV sound as soon as WinME comes up with no picture. I can then select TV from the ATI menu and it works properly again. When I close it, the sound turns off.
I can deal with that issue, but I can't get the GuidePlus or recording software to run. When I run WebTV, it goes to the GuidePlus screen but I don't get any information. I ran through the setup and selected my ZIP code with no results.
Any suggestions?
