ATI TV-Wonder Dropping Frames

Hi. My new and exciting TV Wonder can't seem to capture without dropping frames left and right. While capturing in 320x240x24 into any codec with VirtualDub, my CPU load never peeks about about 60% (Duron 1000). Despite this I'm dropping maybe 5/400 frames. Any ideas?

Running:
Win XP Pro
Radeon 8500
40 gb Barracuda IV
256mb DDR
