Hey guys I just picked up a ATI TV Wonder (PCI, NOT VE, NOT USB) ok and I am fairly happy with the card but the problem is that when I record stuff my framerate sucks. I get less than 50% of the frames. I have a pretty sweet system and I don't understand why its having so much trouble. I got a AMD 1Ghz, 640MB SDRAM, KT133A chipset, 2x 30 gig hds in RAID 0 config, GeForce 2 MX 32Mb AGP, TNT2 Vanta 16Mb PCI. Dual video card may be a problem with it, but it works fine on both video cards. Running nothing else cept for the ATI TV program and recording, lowering the size of the tv window seams to up the framerate a bit, but still losees lots of frames. Any ideas anyone?

Are you trying to capture full resolution? That'd make
even powerful systems choke...

capture settings arnt very high 320x240 mpg
Anyway I tried a diffrent tv program and PowerVCR is SOOO much better than the ATI Multimedia Center PowerVCR dosen't use 100% cpu usage, and my recording is 100 times better and frame loss is less than 1% . ATI just doen't know how to do decent programming thats all...
