Do I need CCC to run ATI Tray tools? I mean every since I installed CCC and the latest drivers my 1900XT has been giving me issues.. I have heard some folks saying there might be some problems with CCC so if all I wanted to do was download the driver end version of the latest ATI drivers, which their site allows, how would I be able to control the video quality settings?

I am not interested in OC'ing my card... I just want to be able to control the quality, anti all, filtering...etc. Can I do this without CCC and by using ATI tray Tools?

thanks

All you need to run ATI Tray Tools is the stand-alone display driver and, if needed, the WDM driver for Rage Theatre chips. :)

Along the same lines, I've always wanted to uninstall the CCC on my X1800XL but was wondering if there would be any way to change the image quality settings that CCC allows me to? I have a set of settings for every game I play and they're all different. I want to be able to adjust the AF level, AA, etc.

Thanks.

Using ATI Tray Tools is not an either/or proposition. You can install both at the same time and use whichever one you like or both.

I use both. I like ATI Tray Tools fan options and system tray temp display better but prefer CCC for other settings.

CCC sucks, use tray tools. Unfortuantely, the latest release wont allow for overclocking on current gen ati cards, but the program itself is truely amazing.
