ATI Trade In Program

Don't do it. I got royally screwed. About a year ago I took advantage of the ATi Radeon 9600 XT Tradein program so that I could buy a new video card and get a $50.00 rebate. Well, I submitted everything on time, filled out all the paperwork, had it postmarked in the mail with a delivery confirmation, etc. and after 30 days of waiting I called ATi to find out the status of my rebate. The company decided, without telling me of course, that they were not going to honor it because they didn't want to do the program anymore. I was pissed. So, they offered to send my video card back to me a no charge (Big Deal) Of course, it was past the 30 day return policy as well so they wouldn't let me return my card for a full refund. How convenient. I told them to fvck off and I don't think I'll ever buy another card from them again. Good luck with the Tradein program, but don't be suprised if you get screwed.
