ATI Tool....how accurate is it?

Does anybody know how good ATI tool is at catching artifacts? So far it overclocked my mem to 380 and is slowly backing its way down. How long should I run it?

I wish I could tell ya, but I never got mine to work on my 9700. Kept locking my rig up. But I do hear its accurate down to the atomic level. J/k. Good Luck.

It did the same with my 9700pro, I used overclock of 350 on the mem and did not see any artifacts, but Atitool went up to 352 and then backed down to 342. I then played with a 375/340 oc and it was smoother on farcry. The problem was that I really did not notice a great difference from stock settings. So I oc sometimes and don't bother others.

I've heard that too. 😛 Apparently it can catch even very small artifacts that are almost impossible to see. So it must work pretty good.

I wouldn't touch it....apparently it has killed some cards...and my max stable oc with it was well below my max stable oc with radclocker, I won't touch it ever again
