ATI stuff driving me nuts at startup

Hey video folk. Everytime i bootup all this stuff comes up from "add new hardware". Says things like "MEDIA" and "ATI WDM somethingorother" and stuff keeps popping up at me, like this window here (copy and paste): http://www.freewebs.com/fustercluck/atiwdm.gif - Not sure what any of this stuff is or how to get rid of it. I'm sure some of you could help.

I just did, that how all this stuff came up 😛

I previously uninstalled the video drivers from windows then with driver cleaner pro in safe mode. So it should be alright. I guess i'll try reinstalling though if i don't get any other ideas.

it's asking for a file from the drivers CD. Did you install off the CD??? Normally, a download of the latest catalysts from the website is the route you should take.

Have you tried getting the file from the CD? It might go away if you do.

Not really sure what CD it's asking for. I don't think i have an ATI CD.

I installed the omega drivers this time also, i never had this problem before when installing omegas though.

It may be because you have a vivo card, and did not install the wdm drivers. I had the same problem until I installed them.

I'm pretty sure this card isn't vivo...Ah well, i'll just reinstall the vid drivers. Guess i'll go back to ATI even though i like Omega's extra options.

Does your Device Manager list any unknown devices? If so disable them and you shouldn't have any more problems.
