ATI Stopped making Control Panel?

I just noticed this when I went to download the new ATI 5.12 drivers. and I saw something strange, there is no download for the Control Panel. Now, I don't need that CCC thing (I hated it), in fact I tried it and hated it.
I also found this comparison to show you what I mean.

Am I the only one who misses the Control Panel?

The control panel doesn't have any of the new options though. Something like ATI Tray Tools or RadLinker might.

Funny when someone doesnt want a program, its "bloatware".

No, it's characterized bloatware because it uses the sluggish .NET virtual machine.

.NET 2.0 did enable better optimization and supposedly makes it faster for more people. .NET 2.0 automatically runs ngen.exe on the assembly.
So if you don't want to install .NET 2.0 framework just run ngen.exe on the ATI CCC under .NET 1.1 and it should be faster. It's not all .NET's fault though.
