The 945 Intel Video chipset on that mobo will be waaaay better than that ancient 9250. The 9250 is actually a tuned-down variant of the ancient Radeon 8500 family of cards, despite the 9-series name. It is a DX8 part. Being PCI will just make things worse.

Your link for that mobo lists PCI-Express as an option, with full 16X support. Get something like an Nvidia 9600 or ATI 3650 for cheap, and enjoy waaaay better performance (like probably 2000%-3000% faster than a 9250, along with DX10 support).

ahhhh okay!
thing is, i can get this vid card for "free", it is my friend's card. and i'm just wondering whether or not i should spend $100 for nvidia 8800 gt (seems cheaper nowadays), or stick with this one at no cost.
well, i'm not a heavy gamer of some sort.
so i can still use this vid card for my mobo, right?

and thanks for the reply!

yeah you can still use it with the motherboard. I think the 9250 is faster than the gma 950 on the intel albeit only dx8 available (but neither should be considered for any newer games). the 8800gt for around 100bucks is a good deal, but it will depend on the rest of your computer, what games you play, and at what resolution you plan to play at.
