ATI?s Crossfire: Best Overclocker on the Market?

yeah, but when the hell will anything be available? ATI is pissing me off, that sexy white mobo is still nowhere to be found.

Interesting. What the heck is that thing on the motherboard with the fan on it? Is that the Southbridge? Does Xpress 200 even have a southbridge? I'm assuming the one with the big heatsink with the big 'Xpress 200' logo is the Northbridge...

Normally fans like that are little whiny noisy buggers, but since this is just a reference board there will obviously be different designs from other manufacturers.

Looking fantastic! Now if ATI can actually bring out the X-next-gen graphic cards sometime this decade, it might become a 2 horse race again.

You know what else is striking? Is pretty much all the chipset makers are bringing out AMD chipsets first, and INTEL as the also-ran.

The "thing" with the fan is the northbridge. The VRMs are what is covered by the "Xpress 200" heatsink.

And the SB has just a small heatsink on it.
