ATI RV250 = ??

What is the RV250's main counterpart right now? is it GF4 ti4200?? Is the RV250 the same as the ATI 9000? I'm asking because i have no clue what this card can do and my boss just dropped it in my lap and said "have fun".
 
Well, I suppose its designed to compete with the gF4MX series, but its actually faster than the gF4MX, but its slower than the Ti4200. Its also generally a good bit slower than a Radeon 8500 128MB.
