I can't seem to find any information about the remote wonder II's existence on the internet except for a sparse page on ATI.com. Anyone know when it comes out? I've got a coupon for it that's waiting to be sent.

I made photocopies of my coupon and sent it in last month...about 6 weeks ago. I'll let you know if I ever hear back from ATI.

I emailed them and got the reply today (about 3 weeks after, not very good customer service...).
Fulfilling of the Remote Wonder II complimentary offers is scheduled to begin the end of January 2004.

Just saw this on Rage3D

The Remote Wonder II is currently available, but only as an upgrade for users who purchased the All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro. Customers who bought an All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro and redeemed the bundled coupon for the free upgrade to the Remote Wonder II started to receive the product in December of 2003.

Hopefully it will be made available to everyone soon.

OK, so how is it compared to the first one, esp. in respect to the number of programmable buttons?

I haven't used either...but I'll give you the specs off the box:
