ATI Remote WOnder II stopped working

Anyone have their ATI Remote Wonder II (it comes with the RADEON 9600 XT AIW) stop responding? No blue screens or anything, it's just that I'll hit a botton while it's in PC mode, the remote and reciever will flash like always, and nothing happens. I can't even move the mouse cursor now. The remote wonder icon isn't in my startup tray either, even after reinstalling the device and drivers. I think someone mentioned that remote wonder and creative platinums don't play well? I've already contacted ATI, but they suck at responding in a reasonable period of time, so I hope someone could give some suggestions.
