The problem with getting reviews like this is companies like NVIDIA and ATI don't have notebooks on hand they can just send out for review. They have to buy or get on loan notebooks from the manufacturers themselves, like Acer/HP/Toshiba/etc to send out for review. Apparently they don't budget a lot in for that because they almost never have any machines handy. Hell, it's hard enough getting hard specs out of them :|

True.

I'd still love to see a roundout of all the low end, mainstream, and highend mobile GPUs in notebooks with similar specs (CPU, hdd size, RPMs, screen size, etc). Probably almost impossible to do though.

I would love to also, believe you me. Unfortunately for us, it isn't the best interest of these company's to make such a comparison possible. They only loan out the systems that make them look the best and pretty much leave everything else hanging.

Doing such a roundup would be awesome, but would require a group of journalists with connections at all the major notebook manufacturers & some really good timing. I'd love to do it, but it just isn't feasible at this time :frown:
