ATI Rage Pro 128 - 16mb

I think I can connect a tv to this card and record video? Is this true? What software will I need to do this efficiently?

i thought that the Rage's only went up to 64MB?

Sorry its called the Rage 128 pro but its actually only 16mb of video ram.

If it has an SVHS connection then you should be able to output to a recording device.

All-in-Wonders were existant even in the Mach64 era, the one before the Rage 128.

I was given an All in Wonder Rage 128 from my Vo-Tech school instructor because he thought it was broken. (dumb teacher) Well, I got it working. It works okay for recording. Nothing like the newr AIW cards, though.

Even the Rage128 All-in-Wonder has very beautiful image quality from the TV tuner. They had advanced deinterlacers and filters even back then. They're a bit difficult with recording, since they don't have a hardware compression engine, and also because writes from AGP down into main memory aren't exactly fast either.

Oh, Rage128 had VERY good analog VGA output. I have quite a few office PCs around that still use one.
