the ATI is 99.99 -15(cupon code from other website)-40MIR is about 45 plus tax.

I dont' know anything about this card.
Is this a good card for office stuff and DVD playback?
thanks for the info.
Also if this is a repost or not hot sorry. I don't know too much about hardware.

One of the best for DVD playback. Average 3D performance. Pretty good 2D performance.

coo thanks for the info. I couldn't get the 15 bucks off coupon to go through (she need the actual post card) but I am gonna try to return it and rebuy it using the coupon.
Actual breakdown in California
107.04
-40(MIR)
-15(coupon if you can get them to accept the code with the actual postcard)
=52.04
maybe warm if you not really into gamming.

I run the 32 meg Rage Fury. Great for DVD cause it's hardware decoding not software. Games fine for me. $50 I say is a hot deal.

FYI, the All in Wonder 128 16MB is on clearance for 99.88 and I think there might be a rebate as well... but couldn't get to the ATI site to verify.

Anyone know if Office Depot carries the AGP version of the AIW 128, I only found it in PCI. And, you can't use the AIW as a secondary display if you want to use the TV Tuner...

FYI, I don't know if any of you know, but, Some Office Depot Comptuter items are store specific.

I purchased an AIW 128 PCI 16MB yesterday from a store. Today I decided to get a different video card so I went to another store to return it. I had not opened the shrinkwrap and I had the receipt.

The csr could not find the item in the computer and would not do the return even though I had the receipt. I ended up having to drive 50miles out of my way to return it at the store I purchased it from.

I probably could have raised a stink and gotten them to take it back but it was very busy and I didn't feel like makeing a scene. Anyway, the other store took it back no problem.

Also, I've been to some stores that carry motherboards, ATX cases, CPU Fans, etc., but, others do not.

you're absolutely right about the availability of video cards--really anything though... i've been eyeing these monster HT700s sitting in the clearance bin for $79.88 :(
edit: but i've yet to see them at any other store...

isn't the 16meg ATi aiw 159.99 I heard on the forum it was 99.99 but it was listed as 159. Also the OD I went to only had the PCI version of the 16meg AIW.

$107 in California, hmmm. Here in West Virginia, the price is $139 (-10IR - 40MIR) or $89 after all rebates. I asked them to price check, it is $139 and it is also on this week's circular.

Last week it was $139 w/o any rebate.

Office Depot has different price from store to store? Interesting.

Hojl, can you give me the office depot store number you bought the fury pro
from? Thanks.

$60 is a good deal, $90 naaaaahh.

Both stores are in Orange County, suburb of LA.
I am sorry I don't know the store number.
