Get a GeForce2 MX based card instead. Same price, better driver support (the Rave Fury Maxx will NEVER be supported in Win2K/NT), and superior performance.

In short, there is no justifiable reason to get a Rage Fury Maxx, or any Rage 128 based solution, for that matter.

... ok, maybe ONE reason, superior DVD performance. But with today's Uber-processors, this is really a moot point.

so, is it a good deal for someone who will NEVER use Win2k/NT on her computer?

It's not like I'm ever going to use Win2k/NT on my pc anyway.

nope its not worth $80 in my opinion.
Get Geforce MX for $100 or spend a little more for Radeon.
there is no point spending money for old outdated hardware that u'll hate in a week.

this is a very dangerous buy. It is misleading to get a 64MB card on a chip (actually on two chips...) that is totally outdated.

The newer Geforce 2MX boards, even the oem versions will have this Rage fury for breakfast...

Too bad, because these sold for so much just a few months ago that anyone who sees the price on these now would think that this is indeed a good deal. Many online retailers are selling this board for right about that price so its a common price now.

Anyone who buys this board will be very sad when they see their freinds on a geforce 2mx (which is readily available in many B&M stores) destroying them with faster FPS!

oh well, if you were living in the past (like a year ago) this would be a hot smokin deal!

not now. too bad.

I had the Rage Fury Maxx for a couple of months this summer to carry me over until the radeons. It's a great card, but in comparison to the mx cards that you can get now for the same price, they're worth half that price. Definitely go with the mx. You can find them for less than $100 if you keep your eyes open.
