Ok I just installed my new video card last night

Its a ATI Radeon X850 PRO APG 4x/8x 256 DDR

I have a AMD 64 3700 and 1 gig of corsair.

I play HL2 last night I OCed my card to the XT clock speeds which were 520/540
My default clocks are 500/500

Last night playing DOD:S I was getting 60-80 FPS on Highest graphic settings.
I played till about 4am and left my computer on. I wake up this morning and now I can't get my fps past 30. Can somone please help me?

Also I have a MSI K8Neo PE Mobo

Thanks.

Happens some times, is your case still warm? I noticed when I first overclocked my 9800pro, I could keep it overclocked at 430/435core but now, for it to be stable, I have to have it at 420MHZ 🙁 Are you achieving the same clocks?

My case is cool. And the GPU temps on my card are idel at 42C and while in game it gets to 65C. I tried putting it on default clocks, and yet I get the same FPS nothing above 30...

have you tried other games, to be certain, try 3DMARK05 and see if your score is right. If it's right, i'm pretty certain it's a setting with DOD. Or if you don't have or want to download 3DMARK05, try other games like the CSS stress test.

Here is a compairson...

What power supply brand/watts do you have?
Did you try removing and reinstalling DOD:S?
Does it have an FPS problem on any other game?
Did you try removing and reinstalling Chipset Drivers/Catalyst?

I have an antec PSU, I think... Its 500 Watts.

I have not tired removing and reinstalling DOD:S yet. (My benchmakrs do seem low though.)

A bit in BF2 on full

No I havnt tried removing and reinstalling the drivers yet.
