ATI RADEON X600 XT Video Card, 128MB DDR

I got a pci-express mobo w/ a p4 3 giga hertz.

I am wondering if I should go for the $200 ati radeon x600 xt, w/ 128mb ddr or
should i really go all out and pay $600 for the ati radeon x800 xt w/ 256 mb ddr.

I want to play 3d intensive games like doom3 and others, but I am a poor student. So
will the x600 xt hack it? or do i need to bust my budget and go for the x800?

*gandolf voice*YOU SHALL NOT POST!*gandolf voice* J/k, yah this is the wrong forum. the x600 should hack it, and it should be fairly overclockable. Another option would be the NVidia rought which I believe is higher Bang/Buck.
