ATi Radeon X1800XT

I'm not too smart on video card OCing, or settings, so sorry if this is a n00b question...

Why does my X1800XT show as this?

Does the requested speeds line mean that's what it runs at under 3D mode, & normally it runs slower?

If so, why does it only show 594-693 when i run 3DMark06?
I noticed alot of other people's X1800XTs in 3DMark05 are running the exact same clocks, & i was under the impression the default is 625/750, not 600/700?

Because ATI's products are vastly inferior, more heat, VTF, RED PCB, ect.

Just kidding, it's just 2D clocks. Nothing to worry about.

2d and 3d speeds are quite different, so it looks like when you took that screenshot its running in 2d mode. basicly 2d mode means desktop and inet browsing and such. also if your looking at the scores of 3d mark it should be in 2d mode while the benchies are run in 3d mode. if you can look at both the same times grats since i belive 3dmark is full screen 😛

if you want to see if your card runs indeed slower DURING 3dmark, compare your scores to others with a similar system as yours.

It's just odd...in 3DMark results, it shows that speed though too, the 2D speed i mean... 😕

3DMark's fillrate #s should be able to tell you your XT's 3D clocks. Divide the single- or multi-texture figure by 16; if either is over 694, then your 3D clocks are probably the stock ~625 core and whatever memory, so you can rest easy.
