ATI Radeon VE

I just picked up a ATI Radeon VE cause it was the last one on the shelf at best buy and it was only 129.99. It has DVI, Tv-out, dual head. DDR. Is this too good to be true? I didn't take it out of the box yet cause I want to find info on it first. Is it any good?

On that note, how good is the 3D performance of the Radeon all in wonder?
 
Judging by the specs of the card and Anandtech's review, I have to say that this card totally blows. ATi have severly crippled the card and in a lot of cases it performs as as poorly as a Voodoo 4. Also ATi are extremely stupid for dropping its T&L unit.

Return the card and get a Radeon LE. It'll be much better than the VE, plus it'll likely cost less as well.
 
Don't know much about the VE. I think it is geared more towards the business user, not a gamers card. I'd agree with BFG. If you are looking for a budget gamers card from ATI, the LE is a much better bet.
