I do Karaoke Professionally. I have a Abit KA7/100 MB, VIA Apollo KX133, Athlon 700, OS - 98SE. 2 60mb WD60 HDD, 256mb RAM, Yamaha 4416S, Yamaha 2200E CDRW, Creative Live Value, Diam Supre Max 56K Modem.
My problem is my ATI RAGE Pro Fury 128, freezes up. It seems that it is not compatible with the above chipset. All the things there techs have recommended, I have tried, without success.
I discovered I need a video card , with dual outputs. 1 to the monitor, and the 2nd to TVOUT, with RCA cables, or a s-plug with RCA adapter, if available. This must connect into a monitor, or tv for the singer, + additional 2-3 TV's.
I also saw a MB put out by ATI S1-370TL, but I don't know much about it. who made it for them, or even the price.If it will even work with this type of outputs. I have seen cards that have dual monitor outputs, But again I need TV OUT.
Maybe you can suggest a system I can put together to accomplish my purposes. All I need is a MB, 128-256 RAM, Intel CPU, Video Card, Sound Card, CDROM Drive. REAL BASIC SYSTEM
