ATI Radeon VE - Dual Display not working

Howy,

I have an older Radeon VE card that should allow me to view my deskto pacross two monitors. Not to have a duplicate on the second monitor but to basically have a desktop that's twice as wide as normal. Problem is that after I installed the drivers, I can't get the extended desktop piece to work.

I downloaded the latest drivers from ATI I could find 4.3.4013.4 which is what a co-worker of mine also has and his works fine but this one doesn't. ANyone have any other suggestions on things I could try?

NT 4. We have it working on Win2000 but can't get it to work right on Win NT. Not sure if it's just not supported in NT or what.

All NT can do is give you one double width (or double height) desktop stretched over two identically configured monitors. It's an operating system restriction.

That'w aht I was trying to do. We finally figured it out though by telling the driver we had a Radeon 7500 and then it would let us do it. Choosing the card we actually had woudln't let us do that.

Stupid old drivers.... *mutter*
