I have had a few problems with my 64 mb DDR Radeon with Windows XP Professional. It seems the card does not perform as well with XP than witht he other Microsoft operating systems. For example, graphics in games run a little more choppier and sometimes I get random factures in the image with game play ( like a line shows up that is out of place and lasts for only a second). Any one else have these problems? If so what did you do? Also, it would help if you could tell me what ATI software settings work best for Direct 3D and Open GL.

Before you do anything do a Windows update. ATI came out with new drivers today and a windows update will install them for you.

ATI's site mentions nothing of a driver release this year even.

But WHQL drivers out from microsoft. ATI just needs to update their servers.

Anyway your going to get slower if you use NT kernal and I have no problems using win2k which I think is stabler than XP.

What drivers are you using? You should really use the official drivers if your not.
