How do you think a Ati Radeon Mobile will handle 3D Games? Do you think I will get enough frame rates to play UT? Now I'm thinking of getting this laptop. What do you think?Notebook The 1700. It has 8mb of memory. Is that enough?
 
You should be able to play UT with that but It wont run well past the lowest res settings.... You need more RAM for that. I would go with the 32 mb GeForce 2 Go right now until ATI can get a 32 meg Radeon out.


 
not to discourage you from purchasing a notebook, but that model is known for not having adequate cooling. This causes the keyboard to heat up so hot its untouchable.
check Cnet for a review of it before buying.
