2)7870 has the same price as 7870 tahiti...i heard tahiti le is a lot better than normal 7870...Is it worth buying?

Asus makes fine cards and you'll get the gaming bundle.

Also please actually spell out "your," this isn't a text or twitter.

What will you be paying for the 7870?

The reason I ask is that the 7950 is potentially within reach as far as pricing. I think there is a deal on a powercolor right now for $249 after rebate with two new games.

The big issue is if you overclock, the 7950 is way more performance compared to an overclocked 7870, so the price difference is a very good deal to bump up to the 7950? But I don't know what price you are paying for the 7870?

Get the gigabye card. That's the one i have now and i cant fault it. My one goes to 54c under full load @ 1150/1450 on default voltage.

is there any reason you can't get an HIS iceq 7870? it has the best cooling of all the 7870s and mine overclocks like a beast!

I also have the Gigabyte 7870OC in my one rig and it is a solid, fast and COOL card.

I have a Gigabyte 7850 and I'm very happy with it, but it doesn't have fully unlocked voltages. I don't know if that applies to the 7870's as well but you may want to go with a reference PCB if you intend to do heavy overclocking.
