I built a new rig last month and it's my first time setting up a crossfire system. One of the issues I encountered was the when I would load up a movie or a game would go into a cutscene the monitor would go black and a no signal error would come up and I'd have to hard reset the computer. After weeks of trying to figure out what was wrong, even going as far as buying a new and bigger PSU, I realized that the cause of this problem was that the cards were overheating. When I had the case opened, it would help a bit but at some point the error would still occur just later on. So I had to revert to just having one card and the problem has disappeared. So my question is, how do I keep the cards cool in a Crossfire set up? Should I buy a new heatsink for the cards, is there something in the BIOS that will help, or go to watercooling?
