ATI Radeon All In Wonder and VIA 133a motherboards

Has anyone had trouble running the above combo? I have trid every combo but I still crash like crazy. Especially the
TV tuner. Can anyone help?

Sure its not the card???? It may be bad. Im sure youve check that but ya never know!

Try updating the drivers. Get them from Rage3d.com

Be sure to check their forums also... you might get more help there.

I've got the same problem with the TV tuner and also using KT7VIA (Soyo). Any luck so far? I loaded/upgraded all that can be upgraded. I contacted ATI but no help whatsoever.

Are you using W2K because if you are I think that is the reason as I remember reading something about TV cards not working on W2K (or something like that) ... I found it here it is (part of the W2K readme.doc)

ATI-TV Tuner Video Cards Are Not Supported for Use With TAPI
TAPI does not support the use of ATI video cards that incorporate TV tuners, including but not limited to ATI-TV, ATI-TV WONDER, and All-in-Wonder models. This will be addressed in a future release.

Hahahaha, welcome to the wonderful world of ATi, that stuff is why I returned my ATi card...

Even though I have the Kt133 I have never had any trouble with the TV Wonder PCI card. Works real smooth with a GF2 MX. Did you install Via 4 in 1 latest (try not to install more than once). I have a Soyo 7VCA with a GF2 MX also and tried an older AIW ATI and also worked smoothly. I have never tried the Radeon but it could be a driver issue or poor HW setup.

My friend's KT7 didn't get along with his AIW Radeon for awhile. I had to move the sound card to a different PCI slot (IRQ problem) and then use the "special purpose drivers" from ATI. You can find the special purpose drivers direct from ATI's web site.

I have the 133 chipset and the ATI AIW card and am in the same boat you are. I havn't had much time to spent working on it but I did get the tuner to work. Go to the Tech support forum and type in radeon. Look under the andyjz post and there is quite a bit of help there thanks to madmaxx and a few others.

i'm running everything fine in w2k..Just have the latest beta displayer drivers in stalled. 3073. and all the other stuff i got from the cd. Works GREAT!!!! Don't overwrite the display drivers when you install the stuff from the cd. You have to do a custom install and tell it not to install the display drivers.
