Fry's Outpost has the ATI Radeon 9800XT for, I believe, 379.99 with a 40.00 rebate. Look in the weekly specials section.

That's $150 more than I paid for my lst Dell system!

Is it really worth it?

Nice find!

Yeah, it's worth it. Whatever graphics solution you got in your Dell system (likely onboard) is crappy and this is the fastest card out on the market right now.

Not sure about this one....I guess it's the though that counts though...

Considering the cheapest this card is on Pricewatch is $406 I would definitely call this hot.

Truthfully, no it doesn't. If you already have a 9800Pro, wait till the new batch of cards comes out. The extra 128MB of RAM and slightly higher clock speeds isn't worth the extra cash.

Is this card faster than the 4meg Trident 3DImage 9750 that's currently in my system? :)

Well, I bought a 256MB 9800pro from Newegg and flashed it to 9800XT BIOS since it had the XT GPU core. No problems.

He's probably still trying to render frame 3. Give him a couple weeks and he'll average it out.
Not that I can say much, I'm running an S3 Virge Pro 4mb PCI right now while my 5900 is RMAing.

The 9800 series cards are actually pretty small compared to the GeForce4 Ti and GeForce FX series.
