Ok, I could have sworn I read somewhere on this forum that you cannot overclock the ATI Radeon 9800 PRO because it is locked in the BIOS and that only Saphire and the other manufacturers had that ability to overclock right off the bat.

Is that true, or can I just use the tweaker to overclock without doing anything else? I've searched and searched through this forum and other sites and can't find any information on it.

Thanks for any help!

AFAIK that is wrong. I have a 9800 NP (retail built by ATI) and it is unlocked. I use Radclocker to o/c it. If any card was going to be locked I would think this one would be it.

Go ahead and try to o/c your card, that's the only way you'll know for sure right?
