ATI Radeon 9700 Pro (OS Support)

i bought an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro from newegg.com and i saw that the card only supports XP, 2000 and ME
i want to run 98 i like it the best
is there a way to run 98 without problems ?
is there a patch or something ? i need help

You like 98 the best because you havent given XP a try. Try it out, get used to it, and you will never look back.

Yes. You'll use the same drivers as Me, I think. The only difference is a technicality. 98/SE is a "discontinued" OS according to MS, so they won't give WHQL certification for drivers for any OS earlier than Me. MS has said they'll only support their last three OS'es, so when Longhorn debuts, Me support will probably be dropped (thankfully).

I agree.
But 98 is still a good OS, its better than Me and 95, but i prefer a system baced on a NT5 kernal (Win2K, XP), its just more stable. Plus do dont have to reboot when a program crashes, you just hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, and end the program through task manager. And you dont have to reboot every 30mins to prevent poor performance.
