ATI RADEON 9700 PRO "Game Gamma"

Can anyone tell me how this works? I adjust it and it does nothing at all for games...no change in the brightness.

I ask because my monitor is really dark and the darkness can be a problem in certain games.

I don't recommend this, but if you have Adobe Photoshop there is a Gamma Value changer thing in there. If you increase this it will increase the gamma on the whole monitor and in all of your games. It's up to you, I had a dark monitor before but it bothered me so bad I had to go out and get a new one
