ati radeon 9550 vs. visiontek xtasy 9600xt

I am a casual gamer and I was trying to decide which mid-range video card to buy, either the ATI Radeon 9500 256mb or the Visiontek Xtasy 9600XT 256mb. I know ATI makes both chipsets. I have checked online, but I can not find any comparisons between the two. I have been able to find both cards for similar prices (9600XT is about $15.00 more than the 9550). I'm just not sure which card would be the better buy for games.

If there is not going to be a noticeable difference then I guess I should just stay with the 9550 since it is cheaper. Can anyone give me some insight as to which card is better?

I would really appreciate any advise I can get.

9600XT is the better card by far. Both have 4 pixel pipelines but the 9600XT is clocked higher in core and memory.

BTW 256mb is a complete waste for those cards. See if you can't save yourself some money by getting the 128mb versions.
