Hi there,

Have just been reading THIS comparison review of the two cards, luckily enough the exact two brands I am after, Gainward on the Nvidia side and Sapphire on the radeon side.

Was looking for some Anandtech peeps who have seen both cards in action, ideally with similar spec'd systems. They appear to be fairly neck and neck...and I can pick up a Gainward (non VIVO, just TV-Out) for about £20 less than the Radeon....but DirectX 9.0 compliancy is tempting!

Jamie

p.s: looking for direct comparisons on the two cards....rather than ATI vs Nvidia stuff....which as we know will annoy the mods :wine:

TheCorm what price have you seen the Gainward GF4 Ti4800SE at? I`ve seen it for around £132(128mb version) ,so if you`re willing to spend £165 or so you could pick up the Leadtek GeforceFX 5600 Ultra which will give you DX9 support,I presume the 9500 is the Pro version?
Those are selling out real fast,so you may need to look at the ATi 9600 Pro.

Buy a red pcb 9500 and software mod it to at least a 9700 pro or maybe even a lower clocked 9800 !

It was £111.35, but only 64mb TV-Out version.
