ATI Radeon 9200SE 128mb vs Nvidia Geforce4 MX440 64mb

Was wondering what kind of performence differences there was between the above two?

Also how much of a boost the 9200 has over the 9200SE

The latter is not so important but I had trouble finding comparisons between the 9200SE and the MX440.

Hope this is close enough; you should be able to just extrapolate down from the 9200/9600SE results a bit (a lot?)

Gist of it seems to be that even the regular 9200 is not a big step up...

Yeah thanks for that....looks like the 9200SE is about on par....the 9200 is slightly better but not by much and in some tests it actually fared worse.

Guess it's a 9600 Pro methinks...

If you want something that doesn't suck, yes.

Or a 5700Ultra, 5900SE/XT, or a 9800Pro...

Pah....have been happy with the MX440 at any game I have thrown at it (event hings like rogue spear, medal of honor) but I am far from a hardcore gamer.

I would HOPE it would play those; the tech behind those games is several years old. I even had BF1942 going for a while on a GF2MX (at 800x600...), so it's not a terrible card. It's just way slower than a 9600Pro, and way way slower than a 5900 or 9800.
