ATI Radeon 9000 vs GeForce4 MX440

I have a choice between 2 cards (that I already own) for my new rig. My new rig will be a P4 2.6c @3.25GHz (hopefully), Abit IC7, and 512MB Buffalo PC3700, along with a 80GB WD SE, and Antec SLK3700AMB that I already own. Anyway, the ATI Radeon 9000 is a Sapphire OEM card, with 128MB DDR ram, 4X AGP, Svideo, DVI, and VGA outs. The GeForce 4 MX440 is the card shown here: NewEgg. It is a AOpen retail box, 64MB DDR ram, 8X AGP, Svideo, RCA, and VGA outs. It doesn't have DVI, but since I have no devices that use DVI this isn't a factor (if I ever got an LCD I would switch the cards). In conclusion, is the GeForce4 MX440 64MB DDR better than the ATI Radeon 9000 128MB DDR? Thanks in advance, Josh

128MB 9000 > 64MB MX440, IMO. The MX should be faster with AA, but both cards are so slow that I'm not sure that'll be a factor. The 9000, OTOH, will be much faster and offer higher levels of playable AF, and it's a more capable card (DX8.1 vs. DX7). Neither are very fast, but I think the 9000 is a better card overall.

Yeah I thought the ATI was faster, but I wasn't sure because the Nvidia has 8X AGP. Thanks for clearing that up though!

8X AGP = 0% performance increase on those cards.
