ATI Radeon 8500 DAC speed

only like 250 on the second monitor
7500 has dual 350s
matrox cards are 375 for the first, 235 for the second, I think.

gf4s are dual 350s too.

Yes I meand RAMDAC. I knew that the speed should be 400 MHz, but when I go in Display settings and choose Adapter info it will show:
DAC: Internal DAC (350 MHz).
I downloaded the newest driver and now the speed is not showed any more. The card is the retail version.
I was wondering that if there is a utility that I can use to see all the speeds for my card.
Thank you

Yeah it said that in my adapter properties too, but I know for a fact that it is 400 mhz. ATI employees said that all Radeon 8500 cards had a 400 mhz ramdac at Rage3d a while ago.

It has a 400MHz RAMDAC. Windows reports it incorrectly on the R8500, in fact it reports it incorrectly for almost all cards with RAMDAC's faster then 350MHz.

So I guess when Bill Gates said "640K ought to be enough for anybody", he later though "350mhz Ramdac ought to be enough for anybody" 😀
