ati radeon 7500 retail <-> ati radeon 7500 oem

Clock speed, and Ram quality. Although the Built By ATI OEM's are just as good as the Retail, just clocked lower. (I believe)

290/230 core mem clock vs. 270/230 core/mem clock. Real world performance difference is extremely minimal as it's primarily bandwdith limited anyway.

Thanks for detailed info. I am making a choice between Radeon 7500 OEM and RETAIL both BUILT BY ATI
so I see I can take the OEM one, which is about 40% cheaper 🙂

Nope, only the Radeon 7000/Radeon VE lack the fixed function T&L. The original Radeon series, the Radeon 7200/7500, and 8XXX series all support fixed funtion hardware T&L.

Aren't the original Radeon series and the Radeon 7200 the same thing? That's what Windows calls 'em anyways.

built-by ati radeon 7500 retail.
built-by ati radeon 7500 bulk pack (people like to call it as oem).
power-by ati radeon 7500 - hundreds variants.
some are retail, some are bulk pack, you can call them oem.
different core, memory speed.
make sure you know what you're buying.

Not exactly, the ATI numbering scheme refers to the GPU, so the Original Radeon and the Radeon 7200 share the same GPU, but the 7200 can come with different memory/hardware configurations tha were available with the original Radeons.
