The OEM Radeon 7500's use 4ns DDR SDRAM usually.
The Retail R7500's I've seen using 3.4, 3.6 or 3.8ns DDR SDRAM.

FWIW: The core is usually easily overclockable to 300MHz+

<< are you positive that the oem's have 4ns? like the one on www.newegg.com in the ATi section? >>

Everyone I have personally seen thus far has had 4ns RAM, so I'm willing to bet the overwhelming majority do.
I've heard, though not personally seen OEM R7500's that have 3.8ns RAM though.

I would find it hard to believe having 3.8 let alone 3.6's on the 7500 not impossible thought...;>) An oem is 270/230 and you probably won't get hardly any better. A handful of MHZ at best...yes 5. I have owned one and I bought another...just make sure you get it at the right price.;)

I just received an ATi built OEM form another trader. It has Elite 4ns ram. I have'nt tried any overclocking with it yet, but versus my old Radeon DDR overclocked at 187MHz here are my results:
QIII demo 1 1024x768 32bit HQ/HQ sound : Radeon DDR 79fps, Radeon 7500 114fps.
3dMark2K: Radeon DDR score 3420, Radeon 7500 score 4560.

Can't wait to see what the Radeon 7500 will do with a bit of overclocking. although I wanted and still want an 8500, this might just do nicely while I wait for prices to drop. I only paid $105.00 shipped for it too.

Well so far with PowerStrip reporting 306core/261mem, I ran serveral runs of QIII time demo's followed by 1 1/2hrs of RTCW at 1024x768 32bit everything maxed, and did'nt see one snowflake, spot, tilde key looking squigly or nothing.

Not bad for an OEM with 4ns ram, but I will play with the ram speed a little more till I see spots then back it off 3-5MHz.
