When playing Age Of Mythology or Rise Of Nations, the XP would sometimes crash with BSOD. this never happens in windows, only during gaming. I have a !Philips Aurillium sound device that is connected to the outside speakers.
i just happened to see the System Info and found that the Intel USB Controller is using the same IRQ 16 as the Radeon. was wondering if this could cause the thing to crash?

I'm running

Dell 400SC
XP Pro
P4 2.8 Ghz
1.0 G Ram
XP Pro
ATI Radeon 7000 Pro
and it's believed that the MOBO for this is the Intel 875BPZ.

I know it's normal especially for XP the only other thing i can think of is the cheap Info-Tek ATI Radeon card??

TIA!

Update.

I just played RON for 2 hours straight without any crashes...seems like this only happens with AOM...

OK the thing crashed again when playing AOM.

the following:

0xB9F739F2 came up nada in google, google groups nor google answers.

0x00000002 came up with MS KB 266762

the most interesting part is the last part.

PSA805.SYS -Address Base at EB1FD000 i did a search on this file and guess what came up?

the Philips Aurilium! that's my USB Sound processor!

i guess i'll need a Soundcard to further test this out..
