A couple of years back I bought a Creative DVD drive that came along with a decoder card. The card was in such a manner that I had to take the video card output and connect it into the decoder card and take the output of the card into the minitor.
I was able to view DVD's with this setup.
Recently, I assembled an ASUS A7M266 motherboard based system with an Athlon 1.2GHz processor. I also bought an ATI Radeon 64MB DDR.
Card Specs....
The specifications of the card indicated that it possessed decoding facilties and hence did not need an additional decoder card. I fixed the Creative 6x DVD drive to this system (without the additional card). However, I am unable to view DVD's on this system. I am also not able to browse DVD's properly. Any ideas on where I am going wrong? Please help. I am able to play VCD andother CD titles using this drive.
