I have the newest supported drivers from ATI's web site and i am running windows 98se when i try to play Quakeworld my monitor goes to sleep and won't wake up and the sound goes into a loop. Can't even ctrl+alt+del out just have to power down. Little more info bout my system i have an asus a7v(no sound) mobo, 1 ghtz t-bird, and a soundblaster live x-gamer card. and a 19" CTX monitor that i also have dl'd the newest drivers for.
Plz help. Thx

Most Ati Radeon problems are addressed at www.rage3d.com.

I would check there - mostly Ati users supporting each other.

Other than the SB Live, do you have any other cards? Sounds like a possible IRQ conflict eiher with the SB Live, Radeon, or both. I know I have a different mobo, but I had to do alot of rearranging of cards to get a configuration that would play nice. Hope this helps...

The Special Purpose drivers on their site work better for most people, and they are faster too. Give them a try.
