ATI RADEON 64 DDR driver question

Getting ready to set up my new system and was wondering if anyone knew if the drivers are better for win 98se or win me?

last i checked the radeon drivers used under each are the same. i would use 98se it's more stable.

3056 is much faster in my system.

im not sure on difference on ME and 98 SE but i heard lot of complaints on win 2k. some ppl fixed it with latest special purpose drivers and some couldnt. but 98se or ME should be fine

I can play Q3a in WINME at full res, full color, eveything maxed out and get pretty good frame rates. I noticed no difference between it and 98se

thanks for the input, i think i'll probably stay w/win 98se for now. hoping to get it up and running tomorrow
