ati price dropping?

Any idea if, when, or how much?

Should i wait? or just go and order a 64 meg ddr 8500?

any input is appriciated.
 
I'd guess prices will drop in a nother 1-2 months when we start hearing more about the RV250.
If you plan on buying an R8500 though you might as well buy now, because I can't see the R8500 prices dropping much lower then they already are.
With R8500LE's available at below $100 now there just isnt much room left to drop without completely eclipsing the market for the R7500/7200.
 
At $100 now, the card is a good deal. It won't drop to $50-75 bucks for a long while and you can get alot of use out of it now.
If it was $200-300 and it dropped $100-150 bucks, like the GF4 will probably do after the new NV30 comes out, then you would lose but when it's this cheap for a good piece of hardware, I say go for it. The price is right now!
