ATI presentation mocks NVIDIA

Check out the link via rage3d. I like the part about artificially keeping prices up by renaming the same products. Yeah, it's ATI propaganda, but there is truth in it.

As for the video of the presentation itself, why didn't 3dgameman record it via video out instead of taping from the monitor and failing that why not use a friggin' tripod? Actually, now that I thunk on it... why didn't they just screen cap the presentation to a series of images which it is anyway. Instead of 62MB it would be a few hundred k and better quality to boot.

So where are the same people who were irrate at NVIDIA when they did a Powerpoint presentation about KyroII? How come I haven't heard the same people upset at ATI for using the same tactics?

The nvidia presentation actually tried to undermine a specific product and make it seem as if it was more evil than nvidia is.

ATi is just knocking nvidia, no harm in it. Just think of it like politics.

I don't care if ATI made this Powerpoint presentation. Yes, its like politics. All companies do this. I just can't believe so many people had a cow when one from NVIDIA was leaked.

I didnt care much when nVidia's document was leaked, and I dont care much about this.

It's all marketing stuff, and marketing is mostly BS, no matter who's marketing it is.
