ATI (Original) X850XT Platinum Edition AGP Now Available

At the same clock speeds as the x800xt it is slower. It will clock higher but the performance benefits are minimal.

Good LORD!! $700 for a video card? I got this for $670 back in November:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (Socket 939) - $195
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (nForce3 Ultra) - $135
Mushkin Enhanced 1.0GB PC3200 DDR Memory (Dual Channel) - $160
NVIDIA GeForce 6800GT AGP - $180

Sorry, I'll take the above over the X850 thank you very much. :|

Most people did not get their 6800GT for $180.

Why are people suprised its priced high? EVERY new card that comes out, is always gouged at first. Look at the XL. Was $500 at newegg a month or so ago, now its $300 at newegg, and $300 on retail shelves. If you want a new card when it first comes out, chances are very good you will be paying over MSRP.

Be patient, and wait for it to drop. Or better yet, just stop crying about it.

I know, I was just showing, that if your smart about your buys, you can get SOOO much more than a damn videocard that will be completely obsolete in a year or less with a similar amount of money.

eBay

Got lucky, since the dood selling it had about 25 of 'em. The only unfortunate thing is that I have had to RMA the card 4 times, though, this time, its working, no problem.

Well, maybe not, but its certainly not worth buying a single card for $700 and a year later, it being worth $200 or less. Just illustrating my point, thats all.
