I'm planning on getting a ATI Radeon 8500 LE OEM from newegg.com. I was wondering if ATI backs up its OEM products with any sort of warranty. I remember someone saying that ATI is good about this sort of thing.

I called newegg and they seemed to think that all OEM products have no warranty and said that newegg offers a 30 day warranty.

Also, I'm pretty sure the card I'm buying is "Built by ATI."

Yes, in the past, when ATI OEM cards (should say bare card in bulk pack) are exact same cards as retail, ATI gave same 5 years warranty as retail.

Original ATI bare cards have card part number, "ATI Technologies" and full ATI logo printed on the pcb.

The last original ATI bare card is Radeon 8500LE 250/250 64MB I believe. Newegg used to carry this for a while then changed to a 230/230.

After that, I don't see any original ATI bare card in the market.
Those 8500LE 128MB, 8500 64MB, 8500 128MB bare cards all are by Sapphire Tech, and distributors treat them as original ATI cards.

Exception is AIW 7500/8500, AIW 7500/8500 are still original AT bare cards with all the accessories/cables as retail, just without the retail box.
