Either I have become illiterate or you guys missed this one.

AT's ATI OCUR article

I thought this was rather big for the HTPC and video lovers. I suffer with having a digital cable box. That means that I have to use the cable box as my source and set any capture device to channel 3/4. My cable does not give me the option to hook a PC up to it directly. As I was reading the article, I saw that I might be getting relief.

Is it just me? ;)

Will this be compatible with all digital cable signals? Rogers cable is what I use, and if it would work I would buy one.

Also, how much will this thing cost?

Should be compatible with all digital cable signals, but I believe your provider has to offer a Cable Card, which in conjunction with this thing from ATI would decrypt your digital cable signals like a cable box would. Otherwise (if you had neither an external cable box nor a cable card), you would be limited to receiving whatever channels the provider doesn't encrypt. That's usually limited to the HD locals, although right now where I am, it looks like >90% of the regular digital cable channels are unencrypted as well. I don't care though since they're not HD :p
