Ati - Nvidia questions

I am going from PowerColor 7950 Boost

to a Gigabyte GTX 970 GV-N970WF3OC-4GD WINDFORCE 3X

Since I have not worked with the Nvidia driver panel in quite some time I am looking for advice for settings to tweak, turn off, turn on etc.
I understand I am going to have to clean my system of the old Ati drivers and the likes.

I assume MSI Afterburner is still the preferred overclocking tool for Nvidia as well? Anything else I should know up front? Any nuances?

My experience has been that modern graphics drivers just work. Perhaps you need to set up application profiles if you want to tweak older games which don't have AA and AF settings available via the in-game menu.

I think that the most interesting about modern nVidia drivers is DSR. If you elect to use DSR, most people recommend a smoothness setting of 10-15%.

Thanks for the reply. I will look into the DSR you mention. I saw it mentioned a couple of times but haven't looked into it yet. :hmm:
